Now, I don't think it's fair to make hard-and-fast generalisations about a whole society based on just one YouTube video.
But if I was gonna do that ... I'd say what have we learned about America from this one video? It's a country that's obsessed with its own blind patriotism, with its own religious fundamentalism, with sexualised violence, and there's a weird homophobic undercurrent going through some of it, as well.

I befriended lots of people called Randy on FB - I was bored
Turns out there's a lot of these guys in the bibble belt and some of the more outspoken ones do fit the demographic.
What's weird is that some of these are affluent and appear to have nice (FB) lives but they still have a big axe to grind.
Makes you wonder what they need to worry about.
Nice house, plenty money, sunny weather but whooah transgender peeps in bogs?

His own show, other people's shows, ads, computer game, music videos.
Absolutely loved it. Matt Frewer was/is an underrated genius. He was even pretty good in "Watchmen".

He was in the TV film version of Alice in Wonderland (2009)
A so-so film overall but helped immensely by Matt Frewer's senile White Knight forlornly singing "hey nonny nonny" while riding an old nag.
Also Tim Curry as Dodo and Colm Meany as the Red King. I'm sure Harry Dean Stanton was in there too.

A second scan clearly revealed "3 pubes per ball (one per cock)", the septuagenarian scientist claims.

Whoever has suggested this doesn't know how nuclear bombs work
A nuke takes a controlled, shaped detontation to set off the fission.
Its not like uranium is a gas or is soluble, so it will just sit around - It's a metal.
So in summary if the story wasn't bullshit to start with, there's only a tiny localised threat from a "decayed nuke".

It exceeds the Guardian and the Independent's content by several light years, alas. It's capacity for celebrity gossip is mind blowing however, and i think it's primary allure by it's readership. It must be, it's absolutely mental. Just one long, seemingly endless feed of whose got big tits, whose shagging who, whose wearing a pretty frock, red shifting into infinity. It is the very definition of utter mindless gobshite

It's not the neck
It's his extraordinary failure to realise that he only has to grow that beard to cover the full hideousness of it. He must shave it every day. It's like he wants us to see it.

BBC recipes being removed from the web
Or archived, I suppose
Any of you clever bods know how to grab the lot and host elsewhere? I quite often use them when faced with a fridge of random items.
Not sure how this really saves huge wads of cash but I expect Murdoch has an interest in a paid for web site.

I've yet to find a recipe for a twix, a can of super strength lager,
a month old lettuce and an unidentifed item wrapped in foil that could have been beef or possibly cat

1. Mix the beef / cat with 2 -3 sprigs of finely diced fresh rosemary
2. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees (180 degrees if fan assisted).
3. Soak the month old lettuce in cold water, and keep the gunk for garnishing.
3. In a casserole dish sear the beef / cat on all sides by frying in oil for about 3 - 5 minutes.
4. Add the super strength lager and stir well, coating the beef / cat with it's beery goodness.
5. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and put in the oven for approximately 45 minutes.
6. While it cooks eat the Twix.
7. After 45 minutes, remove from the oven and put back on a high heat, stirring until all the liquid has reduced.
8. Serve.

Could one of you IT types take a stab at quantifying what the saving would probably be?
I understand that there must be some costs associated with maintaining it but what would you be realistically talking?

Search engine cost, bandwidth, possibly QA to check it isn't broken by upgrades, pennies for storage
Probably far cheaper than the cost of taking it down.

It's an easy option for the BBC
It whips up public fury to help oppose BBC cuts. If they do a U-turn they come out as the good guys who listened to the public, and if they don't they can sell more cookery books.

Fuck all probs, at least nothing significant.
Like yokel says it's about moving it into 1 commercial entity. Staffing can certainly be decreased saving some dosh. Most likely an attempt to simplify. In fairness it makes sense to only run 1 recipe website rather than split your offering. It may move more hits to the commercial side and provide extra cash as well.

This is a disgrace
We've all paid for this but it must be deleted because our government seems hell bent on destroying anything in state hands that is of actuall quality. What about the health benefits of encouraging people to learn to cook well for themselves?
This is the ideological equivalent of book-burning.
If anyone knows of a petition to stop this, please do pass on the link.
