there was a mental man at the hospital today. The police brought him in, said something about an episode, then he was talking quite lucidly to one on the nurses, then he just fainted and started screaming. It was well scary :(

Oh no!
That is scary. I hate going to hospitals. Went to one with my mum and mofaha last week. As soon as we walked in, I felt sick. Then, as we were trying to find the neurosurgery department, some old guy with an IV and all these tubes, looked like he was going to surgery, wheeled past. Also, I peeked into an operating theatre.

I read Moab is my Washpot a few weeks ago, which was remarkably good. I read a few odd sci-fi novels I found a month or so before that. No War and Peace or Pinter i'm afraid though. All my classicism seems to come from films, A Clockwork Orange the film but not the book etc.

A good night all round, I'd say :)

I have seen Bedazzled
I think that's one of the few things I have seen, as well as bits of the Record they did and also another film which I think involved Monsters in some capacity.
Unfortunately i'm sort of a massive nihilistic depressive, so I can't really devote my life to comedy or anything anymore. I just collect the stuff I had seen in my younger years, because I have odd archiving desires.

It's a pity Herring hasn't really survived as much
I think there was as much of his writing in Lee and Herring and Stewart Lee's, but I think Stewart Lee just has a better more niche standup routine. I saw him do 'What would Judas Do?' at the Bush Theatre, he does some really fringe stuff.

Whilst I respect your taste in Pata Pon, I'm dismayed by your "games used to be better sentiment". With all due respect sir, bollocks. In general games have gotten progressively more entertaing with time. If you look across the board the best games of today are far better than the best games of yesteryear.
(the_rhyme_ministerhas a little bit of gold and a pager,

what I'm saying is that most game 'innovation' is in better graphics nowadays, not in new forms of gameplay
I wouldn't want to go back to the 8bit era, but I'd like so see some more games being released which are different and not just the same concept as always with just better effects good recent examples are Okami or the yet-to-be-released Spore
(pzykoQuery failed.,

I think that era is idealised.
I was playing on this earlier www.nintendo8.com and it made me realise just how samey the games were. I think back then innovations was fewer and further between and so were remembered to be bigger than they were. I still play my SNES occasionally for the nostalgia value but never gameplay. Also, Okami was a brilliant game.

try losing some more frames
and as I said above, the more movement, the bigger the file, try masking out the noise (if the camera's not panning or zooming, that is)
(pzykoQuery failed.,

As I hinted at above
if each frame is completely different from the previous (in other words, if there aren't any blocks of pixels that stay exactly the same from one frame to the next) that kind of file size is expected. Especially, if you don't have largish blocks of one solid colour (and most video doesn't have any blocks of solid colour to speak of).
Are we talking video (i.e. jpeg frames) or cartoon, or some other medium?
(finnbarhas officially retired,

It's the nature of animated gifs I'm afraid.
Try reducing the number of frames if you can get away with it. Frames = time = money :( There are many tips for optimising animation. Best bet is to make what looks good, then use a snippet of it for a link to the main feature.

Yoghurt and soup?
That sounds very fail.
I quoted NMTB in the car with mofaha. I dyed my hair (okay technically that was during the week)
But the hair makes me totally unfail.

Hardly.
Once, I threw up after eating a load of soup and yoghurt. The lack of spewing this time must enforce my lack of fail.
Anyway, let's not get into this, because you know how much I rule, and how much you fail, and I'd really rather not have you crying yourself to sleep tonight after I drill that thought into your consciousness.

See?
It makes you sick. That fails. mofaha's bread with cheese and facon is right. That am the best.
ALSO, YOU CAN'T BE BETTER THAN ME, BECAUSE I HAVE BLUE AND GREEN HAIR! How did you know I cried myself to sleep? You are stalking me. That makes me unfail. Because obviously you love me.
EDIT: Also I get to sell arts at a manga/comic con. THAT MAKES ME ALL TEH AWESOME

Facon, that's pretty awesome actually. :3
And also, the rest of that is pretty good.
Apart from the love and stalking thing. Seriously, it's ok just to admit you have a crush on me, I'm not going to hate you for it, most people do.
And I say "people" rather than women for a very good reason. *winks at mofoohoahofohaoowfohofoshfaoinffoo*

Pssh
You wish. You just want to know your feelings are returned. x]
You one of those guys who gets hit on by other guys? That happens to my friend a lot. But he's gay.

I do occasionally, but that used to be because I didn't have the beard
And a few people thought I was a girl.
It's not that we were talking, they just kind of lunged at me and I had no idea what was going on.
It probably doesn't help that me and a load of my friends make jokes about us bumming all the time.
Hell, even me and my brother joke about that.

What does having a beard
have to do with getting hit on by other guys? Some people think I'm a boy. Or at least look like one. Hahah.
Just...out of nowhere? Like...*lunges at*?
Ahh...yeah...that might be part of it. Or it might be because you're so damn flamboyant.

I didn't have the beard when they hit on me.
That was my point.
And it was a dark club, someone fell on me and seemed to be angling towards me in a drunken fashion.
I was not impressed, as they fell on me, then tried to have their way with me.
Didn't even buy me a fucking drink first.

Hah
Remarkably, if I can be needlessly insulting for a moment, from the drawings and stuff in your profile you look like a slightly older version of a friend of mine.
He's a crossdresser.

Ha, awesome.
Either I must look old, or he is a confused child, as I'm only 18.
I wouldn't take offense to it, as I'm not a cross dresser, so it's all good in tha hood.

Well he's only 18 as well
He just looks more boyish, and girlish when he's dressed.
For some reason though a lot of young crossdressers have that type of really tight back blonde hair.

Well, if anyone ever sees me in a dress, I blame you, and only you for this.

Hahahah I don't why bu that is giving me IRL LOLZ. It might be the mental image I get. With you making all retarded faces, and drunken person giggling.
What a jerk.

In fact, the retarded face and giggling was the other way around.
I was shocked and then nearly died laughing, as I was on cricket tour and was drinking rather heavily.

I've got Frets on Fire
There is a Shadow of the Colossus guitar song someone made for it. I can't even really recognise it from the game, but it's still awesome.
I also tried making a guitar version of the speedball 1 themetune, but setting all the notes up was far too hard.

That's pretty cocking ace.
I'd love to actually play FoF, but it sucks with a keyboard, and because I'm a PS2 user, I can't use the USB guitar =[

I love using the keyboard
Especially as mine weighs about 2 kilos, although if I ever get to Expert level it will no longer work. As it can't do certain three button combinations.

perhaps he has incompetent valves in his veins? Also, that is rather nice.
