It makes the lager you get at a student bar seem robust and full of flavour.
I had a "Michael Collins" cocktail in the Nine Fine Irishman bar in the New York New York hotel in Las Vegas, served to me by a nice Hawaiian gentleman. It's a half of G with a shot of 1/2 Baileys 1/2 whiskey in it - like a depthcharge. You're meant to down it, and I thought "I down Guinness for no man", whereupon it promptly congealed. It was delicious, though, but I wasn't impressed with the name. Maybe I'll start up a bar here and have an Osama Bin Laden cocktail.

While I like Spaced a lot and find it quite funny and quotable it's nowhere near being one of Britain's best comedies. I'll submit dinnerladies as an unjustifiably forgotten gem.

Dinnerladies was written by Victoria Wood, who's a stupidly funny woman
