can you stop being stroppy and just make them 400 not 404 wide, the mods just squash it in code which knackers it more than resizing in potatoshop.
Or do you really not want them on the front page?

Now I'm doing verticals under 100k you're now trolling me about the fact they're a few pixels too wide to fit on the bloody fp. go play passive agressive with some other poor sod. Vunderbar

There is no complaint about the 1917 length as that is clearly not long enough. surely there must be a "too long" rule in that FAQ somewhere.
And I don't see what the fuss is about. 404 just means you are going that extra 1% to make us laugh. Which has clearly worked. You've dragged a lurker out of his lurking to look confused at all the comedy fuss.
I think you should now rotate your image 90 degrees and post it again.

There's nothing better than being forced to avoid half the tracks because a bunch of chinless inbreeds might go charging along with a pack of stoked up dogs, in chase of a fox which was almost certainly illegally bred for the purpose.
Well, there is one thing better, and that's coming up to the woods in thick mist and realising that about twenty metres in front of you are a bunch of moronic chinless inbreeds shooting ACROSS THE FUCKING PATH IN THICK MIST at pheasants they most definitely cannot see. Fucking idiots, in any sensible country the cunts would be locked away for endangering life and ideally beaten to fuck in the cells. But no, this is Britain, so we congratulate them and slap them on their backs and pay a fortune for the police to mark out the routes of their fox "hunting".

And they say it's all well and good in the country? Not when you've got these ponces still living in the 18th century, murdering animals for no good reason, other than "sport". Fucking savages. They ought to be hunted down themselves, let's see how fast they can run.

but frankly growing up with one of Britain's largest landowners a few miles down the road (and refusing one of the local villages planning permission to build a pub for no good reason - he's been dead quite a while now, but still no pub) makes me think it wouldn't be the worst idea.
What's even worse are the people who go along fox hunting. Not all of them are even all that wealthy - from my limited experience they *are* social climbers though. Though my experience is limited; I didn't exactly mix in such circles, which is probably quite obvious.

From what I've seen and heard, participating in fox hunting is a sort of social status; if you've been, you're one of the guys, which some people are under the delusion of that being a good thing. I'd never want to associate with that kind of social circle, one that is so shallow as to think that going out and killing animals does the country any good.
( ,

is that so far as I can tell, around where I'm from it's all stopped. And, surprisingly enough, the countryside hasn't collapsed, people still have jobs -- well, as much as anyone does these days -- and farmers aren't finding their sheep ripped to shreds by hordes of marauding foxes.
( ,
Mon 9 Apr 2012, 17:07,

not many fox-related incidents are going to be taking place. I remember jobs being one of the main arguments for fox hunting, which is pretty redundant... how would fox hunting create jobs? It's a crap excuse with nothing to back it up. The countryside's doing just fine without it.

Either that or "Careless Whispers" by George Michael.
In fact, I'll go with "Whispers" as it makes the whole scene even more sexeh.

I took it as an incident in a zoo or animal sanctuary of 2 young pups interracting with each other and nothing more sinister than playful curiosity.
Then that was then shown on Japanese TV in a crazy clips show, because the bear's delayed reaction is very funny.

but to all intents and purposes, that is what it is.
The delayed reaction is the bear's slowed response to a threat (that only occurred when the lion moved its mouth near) due to being kept in captivity. I've not seen past the funny reaction bit though, did it all end happily? or did the bear die of heart failure/lions instinct kick in and go in for the kill?

Lion and Bear team up, rip the film crew to pieces for being bastards and go on to create a truly effective crime-fighting duo.
EDIT: Although it has to be said that watching the bear's facial reaction and amazing comedy running legs (option 1, followed by 22) they could just as well go on to become the 21st Century's Abbott and Costello.

I didn't film it I just found a funny gif on the internet and made a penis on it, I am probably not the right person to be asking about this, or anything else really.
Do you actually know more about this, or is this just guesswork based on the gif?
I know it is not uncommon for animals that would be potential threats to each other in the wild to find companionship in captivity, and just thought it was nothing more than two captive animals being introduced for the first time to allow them to become cofortable with each other and their respective sights and smells as they would be sharing a living area. I may be wrong though.

sorry for the threadjack but with the B3ta Auction
has it occured to anyone that bidders sending 'blind bids' in for the auction is not the best way to do this? I'd assumed the online auction would be open? it looks like people are gazzing bids and its being kept secret?
if the purpose of the auction is to make money for the charity then the only way to do it is in open bids, bidders have to know the amount they need to beat to get the item so the price can keep going up and the charity ends up selling the items at the highest amount possible.
currently the bidders have no idea the highest amount they need to bid to keep the price rising . Each item will just go for whatever amount is highest no matter how bloody low. It's how they sold ex council houses off in some estate agents a few years ago as a fairness policy to create a chance for buyers to get a bargain.
Auctions and ebay use the bidder knowing the amount they have to beat. This is because it's the technique which makes as much money as possible for the seller.
Bidders who want an item compete and push the price higher...but they can only do this if they know the amount they have to beat.
It's not rocket science
I suggest someone puts up a link in off topic and people put their bids as replies before its too late and the opportunity is lost

If a person can only afford to bid for one item and that bid ends up not being a winning bid, haven't they then lost the chance to bid on something else they might like? (I am shit at maths and often fail in the logic stakes so please ignore if I've done a mental)

How about an e-bay style system whereby if your bid is too low (or outbid) Toasty gaz's you back to say what the current top bid is?

if bidders want their bid anonymous put up a thread and next to each pic of the item is the current highest bid. thread would only need to be updated and edited every 24 hours or even week. no big commitment
there are loads of ways of doing it. the current way just seems to be the worst of all possible ways for the charity to make money (although the best one if you'r a bidder trying to get a bargain)

Answering your question though it seems someone has dared to try something new (importing a clip into .ps, converting it to a .gif animation, then daring to upload it to teh internetz) rather than just bitching on a forum. Everybody had to start somewhere; there was a thread of 'my first .gifs' a few days back, and some of the best people on here's first efforts weren't that great. Lighten up.
