The Motion Blur is just Photoshop's Motion Blur filter from the Blur filters
I gave more motion blur to the frames as Yoda moves closer and past the 'camera'
As far as the animation: On take off just 2 frames the start potion and the end position and then used Photoshops tween function on the Animation Bar to add the inbe'tween' frames.
The flying toward us was done by duplicating the Yoda layer and with Free Transform moving the anchor point off into the perspective behind Yoda that would describe the path he was flying (Imagine a straight line from the anchor point, through Yoda and off to where you want him to fly)
Then while the Free Transform was still active scaled Yoda to 110% - Because the anchor point was behind him in the distance this has the effect of pushing him forward.
Then I duplicated this layer and this time applied Ctrl+Shift+T (Cmd+Shift+T) to apply the same transform again, and keep duplicating this layer and Ctrl+Shift+T each time will give the impression Yoda is coming towards us.

The B3ta Art Auction 2012 starts here
Good afternoon ladles and jellyspoons it is my great burden to announce the kicking off of the Great B3ta Art Auction #2 which will take place at this years London Bash. For those that missed last year we basically got a load of B3ta artists to donate artwork which people threw money at both at the Bash itself and also via the amazing technology of Gaz Mail bidding. We'll be doing the same again this year with all money going to The Cats Survival Trust for the continued upkeep of Nina the B3ta Snow Leopard and all her fuzzy friends.
CONTRIBUTE The more art we have to auction off the merrier so if you would like to contribute something (digital/real 2d/3d) please get in touch with me and I'll explain what's involved. ALSO - IF YOU OWN A PRINT FIRM (ideally in London) WHO CAN TURN DIGITAL SUBMISSIONS IN TO ACTUAL PRINTS THAT WOULD BE FUCKING ACE AND AS GOOD AS DONATING AN ORIGINAL GLASS COCK TROPHY
REQUEST If you have a request for something B3taish you've always wanted to own (a print of one of P69's toothy beasties an original JJ strip one of Clay's masks a terrifying atomic nazi sex picture a stunning mofaha filtad print or some of Moggy's finger blood) please suggest it as a reply and maybe Jim'll fix it.
To avoid over spamming the board this thread will update as the time progresses/art gets added so bookmark it and pop back every now and then to see what's on offer.
Chee-arse.
