Seriously, that's the first place my mind went. I miss fruit polos. And citrus ones, the mint green coloured ones that tasted of angel jizz and nice crack.

I don't get what the problem is?
If there was a day out in the park for people on skateboards would you turn up on a quad bike?
It's just a harmless "does anyone want to draw X" thing. I thought I was being overly polite by inviting people AND letting them choose the subject.
If it's that sick and wrong I'll stop annoucing it and just post the result of my own choice on a wednesday instead.

oh dry your eyes, I've got better things to worry about than your draw off rules..oh and in other news have you seen this?

I'm all for open ended drawing fun and games, but that is what 99% of B3ta is about, this is one thread of something else. Just run with it, you might be surprised by how it makes your brain think in a different direction.
And if people can't handle the chains and manacles of evil oppression, why don't we run two threads, 3pm is the draw off, 3.15 is the same title but as open ended, abstract, mixed media and freeform as you like?

it's not like anything gets allowed or disallowed at the end of the day
Although I may give up organising it again if it does turn in to a constant repost event

I'll have a go, even though I'm not normally a drawer
- kings and queens, please. That sounds a bit easier for the rubbish people like me.

is easier than cartoon characters

I wasn't planning on drawing any real kings or queens
that would be really hard. Just something with a royal theme.
I was hoping to go a bit lateral...

can't see how many voted for each but total votes in poll is 34 now
(think there is an option to display figs next to each bar when you create the poll tho) personally if it's kings and queens i'm gonna try to be a bit lateral with it :)
( ,

so why suggest the title if you're not actually drawing Kings and Queens?
Don't get me wrong people, I'm not adverse to lateral interpretation, but why not therefore have a lateral interpretation challeneg/compo/thread. See who can come up with the most fantastic left field approach to a subject?
I really don't get why itsso hard to get what I'm trying to do here :D

i suggested the title as i felt it had potential for plenty of interest and interpretation = more peeps joining in
would be nothing wrong for example with doing a portrait of graham norton in fine regalia is there?

ok, you seem to have misunderstood the orginal point of the draw off
people say what they want to draw and we draw it, it's quite literal.
