Seems like a good little starter camera. The only downside is that it only has digital zoom and (thanks to the way Fuji do their digital zoom) this means that you've got no zoom at all at 2 megapixels resolution and very limited zoom at 1 megapixel. At its lowest res (0.3Mp VGA) the zoom goes in quite a long way, but you don't buy a 2 megapixel camera to use it in 0.3 megapixel mode, do you?
If you're not that bothered about the zoom, then seriously consider it. Otherwise, you'll need to spend some extra pennies on something with a decent optical zoom lens (at least 3x, and preferably with the highest mm equivalent at maximum zoom - the good 3x optical ones go up to about 115mm.)
It's well worth looking around Steve's Digicams and DPReview.com before making a decision.

Shire Horse
Shire horse, oh my shire horse
So still and proud and strong
Shire horse, petulant shire horse
How could you do such wrong?
We used to plough the field. So straight
Our furrows, ruts and grooves
But now there's just the trail
Left by the bloodstains on your hooves
Shire horse, sinful shire horse
You should have let it be
And now your wicked act
Is breaking news on Sky TV
I'm at loss, my friend, my shire horse
As we put you down today
Just like the grieving parents
Of that child who touched your hay

Also if it's not too early for compo ideas (someone was giving out about them and my brain started working briefly, this happens rarely so this is my chance), here's a few:
*Why Aliens Fear Us
*If Pirates Were Alive Today
*New Religions
*Secret Lives Of Judges
*Proof That Clowns Are Scary
*Anything to do with Koalas. They're under-represented, ok?
*Nothing War-Related Week - Woo!
*'Shopping Gollum's head onto people's bodies.*
*OK scratch that last one. I just wanted an unfair advantage since I briefly suffered an addiction to this - combination of mad busy at work so no time to hummus/shop...
And finally back to Edwin Starr - Woo!
