Sir Wobbly
Can I ask how you get transparency on your animations? When I try and have different areas as transparent in each frame they get rendered out as grey for some reason
Or can anyone else help please?
( ,
Wed 1 Feb 2012, 14:38,

Or can anyone else help please?
maybe your colour palette in the optimizing options is set to "custom"?
if so, try "selective" or some other option from the top of the list, or add the transparency channel to your colour palette yourself if you want to have control over which colours are being used
( ,
Wed 1 Feb 2012, 14:55,

Thank you!
I guess that would be 'indexed' colour mode to set a transparent colour in Photoshop first, rather than just opening the psd with areas of transparency on each frame's layer?
( ,
Wed 1 Feb 2012, 15:00,

forget everything I just said and just check if the "transparency" checkbox is checked in the Optimize Window
(you may have to activate the advanced options via the arrow in the top left right corner of said window)
( ,
Wed 1 Feb 2012, 15:04,

It is, but the transparency only seems to work for those pixels which are transparent for every frame.
Those pixels which have colour for one or more frames are rendered as grey for the other frames. I reckon that the transparent colour through fixed palette might be worth a shot, I'll give it a go this week at some point. Cheers for the help!

Every cover version of Wonderwall is also pap. It's a song inspired by a film about spying on your naked neighbours through a hole in the wall, which has for some reason been reinterpreted as an anthem to inspire mid-northerners with a sense of solidarity and kinship, by comparing one another to mystical bits of masonry. and my pay pal one is 159ferrets
there's no way you could hack that by guessing!
*edit* many years ago a friend of mine got into a flame war with someone in a chat room, He put his e-mail up and he knew enough about him to "guess" his password.... anyway long story short he used the same password for everything and the guy ended up buying 1000 keyrings delivered to his home with "I am a twat" etched into them! It still shocks me to this day that my friend never got caught because he was retarded enough to do the "hacking" from his own home internet connection!

Isn't there an account number on the payment page.
Generally deposit to the account and gaz rob with a reference number works OK.

Rob bonds
I like that idea. the US gov started selling bonds to finance WW1.
I'd like to get you lot to pay for me to start a war. I think I'll send drones on the bloke at the cornershop who gave me a funny look like I was shoplifting the other day.

no - I'm declaring war on the bloke in the cornershop
but how bonds work basically is you get your money back PLUS interest after set time period.
Whilst I have to use your money to wage the war - then claim the assets of the cornershop to be able to pay you back and profit.
So basically you'll probably get some dented tins of beans back.

If it's war on the bloke in the cornershop you want Rob
then take your camcorder the next time you go in there and get some footage for us all to tinker with I'm sure we'd all like to make this a mini challenge that you can enjoy :D

all this stuff about wars being fought by drones
makes me think 21C soldiers could be wearing Armani suits, going to a corporate HQ and spend all day at a PC unleashing death from the skies.
(Although there is problems of lag. You want your remote controlled drones controlled by operators as near as possible.)
