# for pachey
My apologies for the terrible lineart & colour job (don't have a scanner or tablet), well, that's my excuse anyway!

Bigger version here

Still, not bad for a second go at colouring in sketches with PS :)

I will get better I promise!

Ms. Weasel found a dying bumble bee and in some obscure act of compassion, instead of squashing it, she decided to nurse it back to health with jam.

Needless to say, it drowned in the jam and overwhelmed with guilt she had to bury the thing.
Of course, she wouldn't touch it so there I was in the cold and rain burying a fucking bumble bee.

# Close!
Altitude is not really that much of a factor in audio. But I was looking for the standard that is 343mps at 20c.

Classically used to set your delays.

The height of a 100Hz sinwave?:P
(, Wed 7 Mar 2007, 13:41, archived)

but one day we'll all be playing gigs at flying parties, and we'll have to fiddle the delays on the video screens to match.

perplexed by the disparity between the british "asian" (i.e. indo-pakistani descent) and the american "asian" (oriental). I asked my sister's american flatmate what she would mean if she described someone as "asian" and she got on a high horse and said she never would because that's labelling someone with something they can't control and that I was a racist for saying anything like it.

I asked her how she'd describe someone's apparent ethnic origin to the police in the event that she got mugged.

Her reply?

"If he robbed me then he's probably black."

I love my own double standards but I do not respect them in others.

P.s. if anyone's offended by the language in this post, please feel free to ignore it. I'll be out back playing with my black lesbian wheelchair-bound midget special-needs gypsy friend "token".

This is driving me mad, when creating a flash file that uses embedded movie clips it cannot be saved as an animated gif...only a swf.

There must be a way to get it into a gif?
Any ideas?

# that same thing pissed me off

(, Wed 7 Mar 2007, 12:54, archived)
# I tried saving it as an Avi
no joy,

I was hoping there'd be a way to flatten the file to a series of looped frames.
then it could be an animated gif.

# You could try
playing the SWF file, and using a screen capture program to save the frames to an AVI...

Then convert that to a GIF.

It's a long way to do it, but it'll work...
(, Wed 7 Mar 2007, 12:58, archived)
# can't help with the clever stuff
but i'm liking this.

can you not convert a swf into a gif or does that bugger things up?
(, Wed 7 Mar 2007, 12:58, archived)
# alas no
You can save a Fla file as an animated gif, but the gif will only be animated if the Fla file is a simple series of frames, tweens can be used.

But the moment any actionscript or movie clips etc are used the gif will not be animated.
