I got one of his books recently...

'The Books Of Magic' are rather splendid.
Edit: and Elektra: Assassin (the Bill Sienkiewicz drawn one) is pretty neat as well.
Edit: and the Hellblazer sequence ain't at all bad, just dismiss the lousy movie they made with Keanu 'One Expression of Wonder' Reeves from your mind.

You can download all (ten volumes) of MPD Psycho from

It's excellent! As long as you don't mind a bit of nudity and dismemberment and combinations of the two.
(the TV series by Takashi Miike is ace too!)

and never called himself one.
You should research him a bit more, he's a very clever and calculating man and I hope I look more like him than the fat, middle of the road sell out that most musicians do almost 30 years after their first hit.

hokay well
I never said he called himself a punk, that's what other people called him and if you'd seen recent pics of him, you'd see what I meant. I'm not calling him dumb, I'm not saying he's not smart or calculating, i'm just saying he looks like an idiot. And trust me, i have researched him quite a good bit. The Pistols are one of my favorite bands, i've done a lot of research on them.

The problem I have found
with the whole "Pistols pioneering punk music" is that it's a farce.
Sex Pistols - Manufactured 'boy-band'. McLaren captured hold of something good that was happening and took some East-End scumbags, taught them how to play instruments, and put them forward as a new venture.
John Lydon annoys me, for the fact he was supposedly punk (regardless of whether he claimed to be punk or not) yet, having seen him recently doing interviews, his morals and his attitudes are that of a middle-class tory voter. and it seems he's always felt like this. Totally the contrary of everything he was the "face" for.
and that's my problem with the Pistols. Still, God Save The Queen is a good song.

This This and This.
He is a top bloke. I love watching some documentaries he has done on wildlife also (sounds bit sad, but he is really into it and it makes for good TV).
Bst bit was some random bloke recognised him and said "yeah man I really used to love the Pistols!" to which he replied "why? We were shite." roffles
