...its just they occasionally also push people over to death,
kick old ladies doors in then request payment for repairing
them, and prominantly display classified anti-terrorism

These sorts of things tend to stick in ones mind, and drown
out mundane things like feeling safe and protected.

I was merely mentioning that it is only natural for the public to be suspicious of such an organisation.

I've had a number of dealings with the police (owing to my eVilness) and I've found them always rather
polite, so long as one doesn't approach them with a "good evening orificer" attitude.

I even shared a toke on a spilff with one at glastonbury a few years ago. Which was awesome.

Of course there are police that are cunts, there are cunts everywhere.

The problem is people who see one policeman being a dick and branding every one of them that way.

...who thinks that rozzers are OK, but that all social workers are bastards, is seriously fucked up.

Being a social worker has all the unpleasantness of being a rozzer, minus the bonus of getting to hit chavs and hippies with sticks. It's a horrible, painful, necessary job - I couldn't do it, and nor could you.

In conclusion, go fuck yerself.

# this subject
has been going on for years battle of the bean field in the 80`s women and children dragged from buses and beaten ( I witnessed this with my own eyes ), miners strike all from the thatcher era and you have the nerve to call people Daily Mail readers yes there probably are some good coppers out there, but at the end of the day people are brutilised beaten and die for their right to free speech, cordened into small areas where there are no facilities with a handful of hardcore nutters that will retaliate, section 60 is to protect against acts of terrorism not deny the masses freedom of speech, only a Daily Mail reader would use such an act.

is thank you.

You know its amazing that out of the thousands of Police Officers in the country, as soon as you get a media story about one of them, people come out of the woodwork and tar every single one of them with the same brush. If you were to do that about gay chap or a black chap you'd be called homophobic or racist. But it seen to be acceptable if its about the Police. God bless em and FP this piccie now!!

I know some police are bastards - I've witnessed it myself - and they've not been wearing thier numbers displayed for some time now, especially at protests.

But - who do you call when your house gets burgled or your car gets nicked? Eh?
(, Sat 25 Apr 2009, 18:30, archived)

# Fat Tony
At least then, you have a better chance of getting your stuff back.

Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of respect for the dear Rozzers (well except Nottinghamshire constabulary - but thats a different story). But they don't seem to care about burglaries, or any other incident that doesn't a) involve physical harm to a person, or b) make money through speeding fines
(, Wed 29 Apr 2009, 10:19, archived)
# Nice
Bloody great. As a man that was brought up by a policeman, and forever suffered the relentless grievances of his peers, never once understanding the complete fucking horror of the vast majority of a policeman's job, I am over the fucking moon with this post. My father was the kind of bloke that had woman who had been raped coming up to him in his local and hugging him, crying, and thanking him for personally and professionally destroying the fuckers that had tortured, imprisoned and violated them over several years. He was and is a fucking hero, and it's lovely to see that people can remember that for all the faults they suffer as a group, the police force is largely populated by the kind of person most of us wish we could be. Cheers man.
