The rescue plane crashes in the Himalayas and they have to eat the dead.
3 of them escape the crash by parachuting out of the plane in a life raft; they survive a 300-foot fall into a raging mountain river and its rapids. They are now in India, and as their raft heads down river they are met by an Indian shaman, who leads them to his village where people are starving, crops are blighted, and there is not a single child!
The shaman tells them that the Sankara stones, which are supposed to have a magical effect on whomever possesses them, have been taken.
The shaman sends them on a mission to Pankot Palace, which once housed the Thuggee cult. After a series of near-death encounters, they others discover the Temple of Doom, where the human sacrifices to Kali - the Thuggee goddess of death - are carried out, as well as a mine that has enslaved the children of the Shaman's village. They must get the stone back and free the children from the Thuggees and their psychopathic high priest.
They are not lucky people!

'typo' has just had letters lopped off the end, in the same way that 'stereo' or 'radio' have, and hence doesn't merit one.

I was just backing you up - as is this webpage:
Plural and Possessive Abbreviations
The formation of plurals and possessives is usually pretty straightforward, except in the case of abbreviations and acronyms. The following rules should help.
To form the plural of an abbreviation, a number, or a capital letter used as a noun, simply add an 's' to the end.
* A group of MPs
* The late 1940s
* Mind your Ps and Qs
To form the plural of an abbreviation with periods, a lowercase letter used as a noun, and abbreviations or capital letters that would be ambiguous or confusing if the 's' alone were added, use an apostrophe and an 's'.
* A group of M.P.'s (see note below)
* The x's in the equation
* Sending SOS's
Edit: I just reread that - and it kinda shows the other way is right...

This issue was settled by a VAT and Duties Tribunal some years ago. McVities baked, and brought into the tribunal, a jaffa cake that was 12 inches in diameter. It is unclear whether this was to prove that it had all the characteristics of a cake or just to bribe the tribunal chairman.
Either way the tribunal ruled that the Jaffa cake was inded a mini-cake made of sponge not biscuit.
The distinction was important to McVities as a choclate covered biscuit attracts VAT at 17.5%. However a cake is zero rated.

it`s quite funky, and I ran it for about half an hour without it crashing out; got a few NullPointerExceptions with the jxta stuff, but as I`ve never used it, I don`t know how critical they were
it doesn`t cache the pages then? that would have been a handy feature - it gave me an idea on writing a best of the automatic board archive though, so I might have a go at that if I get some time
it`s cool to see the replies and new threads appear in the tree though!

The Jxta exceptions don't matter, they're really just debug stuff. It's amazing you didn't run out of memory, you must have one beast of a machine!
Caching is something that was top of th elist to do, at the mo I was was just using a JLabel with html, but I would have to use a JImage as some animations get corrupt.
I liked the replies bit, he changing colours looked nifty I thought! One of the main fetures was that you would get notified specifically to replies to your own messages.

ran it on a 512MB Pentium M 1.6 laptop, but I think I was using a newer version of the JVM than required in the readme (although I installed it about 2 months ago), so maybe some of the leaks were in the JVM
you`ve got to love Swing`s HTML rendering.. it`s a bit.. well.. interesting! I`ll maybe have a poke around with it again tonight, as it`s quite a funky way to view the board, although maybe activating a node should show all sub nodes in the HTML pane, so you don`t just get one message at a time

The one message at a time thing was pissing me off as well. My plan was once I got to the point I'd rather use it than a web browser I'd know it was finished.
Yep Swing has some tempting, yet umm not very useful HTML!

To show their softer, more caring side

But I can't decide whether you meant to write 'any' instead of 'all', or if it's intentional and even the softer more caring side still says that every muslim causes a catastrophe from time to time.

as well as your professional page and profile here -- such a wonderful mix of the cute (without being cloying) and the slyly subversive and dark. And it's backed up by such talent, too! I Just have one things to ask:
Is it okay if I fall in love with you? :P

And then raise the cash.
