this messageboard's a bit dull right now
what we should do is copy-paste interesting posts here from other messageboards then pretend we thought of them

what's your favourite make of television? I hear Samsung are pretty good.

I don't own a television.

lol, line breaks

Jesus Christ, now this REALLY pisses me off. Tomorrow night I went to a foam party at a gay nightclub in Oxford Street. Huge foam making machine pumping washing up liquid and water out as soap suds, that filled the dance floor to head height. Just as well cos most of the dancers (male and transsexual) were in G strings. (I was in t shirt and jeans). Why did I go? Because I could. But I stood there with a cold beer in my hand and thought – this is the decline of a civilisation. Maybe the fundamental Muslims have got it right…… But instead I took a gay Filipino guy home with me and sodomised him.

I will just message the word to everyone anyway…… because I cannot be letting it go. No, you are right. Why – because you me and every fucking person on this site knows that what I said was the truth. Getting a shag in Jakarta is easier for an expat than getting a beer. And anyone who argues otherwise is blowing smoke out of their arse. And I am not a gay.

I'm wondering why....?

There have been many posts on here that I haven't had any great interest in, yet I've always managed to be civil.....

Hove you considerd checking out some of the local traditions?
An old london tradition is that anyone who inhabits on of the ancient cottages within the original boundary walls of london, must offer a meal to a traveller. Its hard to find them now, but they still exist. to stop the residents being always bothered by tourists, its done on a sort of rota basis, but the local policemen usually know which cottage is taking visitors that day, you would be advised to take a carrier bag to bring away any food gifts you might get. Just say to any passing policeman that "you fancy doing a spot of cottaging" and doe h know of a good place, show him your bag to demonstrate you ae serious about it, and he's shure to help you out.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 23:33, archived)

Manchester it is then. You need to declare it on your ticket as you are booked in. "Visiting attractions?" then head to London with your camera. "Likely to explode 30 lbs of high explosive under a burqa?" The North's your destination.

What are the Yorkshire Dales like? In particular Skipton and Howarth?
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 23:08, archived)
Skipton's a lovely little town, with a castle, loads of pubs etc.
The Dales themselves are very hilly, and a great place to go in summer.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 23:10, archived)
When do you guys have summer up there?
I had no idea that summer existed beyond Lichfield.
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 23:12, archived)
You have summer in Lichfield?
I didn't think summer existed north of Bedfordshire.

Even then I thought that was only a rumour.

I'm not sure
I think it's a Thursday afternoon in July this year, but I can't narrow it down any further than that.

Skipton is nice, but beware, it contains Bogus. He may try and get you drunk.
Haworth is also very picturesque, but also very steep and cobbled from what I remember. Also, everything in the local pubs seemed to be themed. Bronteburger and Heathcliff Fries and all that sort of bollocks
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 23:11, archived)
If the weather stays good then there may be a trip on.
I mainly want to see the moor, but half decent looking B&Bs have rooms available in Skipton and Howarth.

it's ment to be a comedy website, it appears this is gone

(, Thu 21 May 2009, 22:43, archived)
I think people have different ideas about comedy.
This has caused unpleasantness in the past and has asked questions about where exactly the boundaries of the comedy should be set. Some people are of the opinion that mercilessly ripping the piss out of people who have recently suffered a bereavement, for example, goes beyond such boundaries. Others take it further and reckon that comedy based on discrimination is also over the mark, as, although the joke may be stated in an amusing manner, it's likely to cause offence to people who don't deserve to have offence caused to them. This may have led to the present situation of blandness whereby it has turned into a regular discussion community much like any other online community. No doubt the formation of real-life relationships through meetings has contributed to this situation where pixels are transformed into flesh and blood. These three poofs walk into a bar. One's a Paki, one's a Nigger and one's a Yid and the barmaid has massive tits…
(, Thu 21 May 2009, 22:53, archived)
It's not farming information
I'd probably forget it soon enough. Just because we're on the internet doesn't mea that everyone has to be defensive, insecure and impersonal. Even on here, you don't have to take EVERYTHING as abuse, sarcasm or having an ulterior motive.

It's mainly green chillies and vinegar stuck in a pan and reduced, but there were a few spices in there as well. It was a family concern that was deliberately kept small but I'm damned if I can find any of their products any more- including in East Ham- guess they must have gone out of business.

Yesterday I aquired
600g of Liquorice Allsorts for £1. I've eaten as many as I can bare, but now I'm fucking sick of them. If you're a resident of Nottingham and would like the remainder then Gaz me.

That aside, anyone feel like recommending some good blues music? I've been getting into it of late.

And for all you moody lifeless internet types, abuse and sarcastic responses are also acceptable.

I'd guess
about a pint and a bit to begin with, but only a third to half a pint left.

That's counting them with the inevitable air gaps when you put them in a pint glass, not if you only counted the volume of allsorts present.

Also, for the record, I have not actually tried to measure this.

Osteoarthritis?
He's been pretty unlucky then, that usually affects older people. Maybe 50-60+.
Rheumatoid arthritis mostly affects young people, 20-50ish. If it's osteo, it's degenerative and I'm not sure there's much they can do beyond symptom treatment and replacing joints.

surgeon went through it with us before the procedure with the family member and stated that they would be placing the relevant leg over the chest and shoulder,
